Burak Özdağıstanli has extended experience advising multinational and Turkish clients in information technology, telecommunications, privacy, IP, copyright, gaming and regulatory fields.
He has a particular focus on privacy and technology transactions.
He has experience in a wide range of intellectual property related matters including software piracy matters, trademark litigation and media broadcast rights.
Burak advises and represents multinational clients in advertising, consumer and e-commerce issues. Further, he represents brand owners in their anti-counterfeiting and anti-smuggling efforts in Turkey before all levels of courts and administrative bodies.
He serves as a founding board member and the general secretary of the Data Protection Association.
He is a member of the IAPP where he previously served as the Istanbul KnowledgeNet Chapter Co-Chair and a Publications Advisory Board Member. He is a member of the ITechLaw Association.
