Coco Kayudi Misamu

Graduate in Law, majoring in Economic and Social Law from the University of Kinshasa in 1999, he holds a PhD in International Relations from the Vasco de Gama Institute in Brussels and a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy the university of Murcia in Spain. He has been a member of the Kinshasa/Matete Bar since 2001. He was President of the Kinshasa Bar (2013-2022). An international lecturer, he has given several presentations on extractive industries (mining and oil), Ohada law, procedural law and ethics. He is currently writing a DES (Postgraduate studies) dissertation on arbitration in the OHADA system.

• Drafting, translating into English and negotiating civil, commercial and employment contracts;
• Legislative and regulatory watch in corporate law and public procurement;
• Audit and monitor domestic and international taxation;
• Introduction and follow-up of immigration procedures to obtain residence permits, particularly for expatriate workers;
• Follow-up of procedures before the commercial clerk’s office and the notary’s office for company deeds.
