Metaverse, Legal Challenges
Metaverse, Legal Challenges: What we can expect from video game experiences, virtual and augmented realities, blockchain technology: accessibility, sustainability and smart ways to conquer the world.
In 2021, the average time spent on the internet by mobile phones was approximately 4 hours daily. Since then, consumer preference for the availability of technology has only increased. It is clear that, from this, the virtual world is part of what we call the Experience Economy.
It is in this scenario that we found the Metaverse and the immersive experiences that become possible through it. Traditional boundaries, as well as the narrative of the brands themselves, transcend.
As an example, we can mention the chain of events composed of the creation of exclusive products; the relationship that it built with consumers; the power to create consumer loyalty, stimulating the desire to acquire them and repeat.
Some trends, such as collabs, have also revolutionized the market. Furthermore, brands have become much more concerned with product personalization and engaging the next generations.
And what about the exploration of the Metaverse? There are famous examples, such as the event Metaverse Fashion Week and even shows by renowned artists, such as Travis Scott and Anitta, on platforms like Fortnite and Roblox.
In the case of tourism, immersive experiences provide virtual activities in hotels and tourist attractions around the globe.
In terms of education and culture, opportunities for study in excellent institutions can be provided, along with the implementation of a more inclusive and high-quality education system.
When it comes to health, there is the opportunity for remote consultations with specialists and the creation of therapeutic virtual environments.
Digital and Metaverse presence has become essential for companies to gain the trust and preference of consumers. What we expect in the coming years is increasingly precise regulation for its implications? What are lawyers doing to ease this path.
