Flavia M. Murad Schaal

Flavia M. Murad Schaal is the founding partner of the Mansur Murad law firm, which she has led since its establishment in 2006. With over 25 years of experience in intellectual property law, she is recognized for her pioneering role in disruptive digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the metaverse, and the new regulations governing copyright. Her expertise also includes data protection law (GDPR, LGPD).
Flavia M. Murad Schaal holds a Ph.D. in intellectual property law, focusing on a comparative study between Brazil, France, and Europe, obtained from the University of Lorraine (France). She also holds a master’s degree in international business law (DESS) from the University René Descartes (Paris, France), a diploma in intellectual property from the Franklin Pierce Law Center at the University of New Hampshire (United States), and a Bachelor’s degree in law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo (Brazil).
She teaches intellectual property law at CEULAW in São Paulo (LLM and Executive LLM) and at Faculdade BELAVISTA (undergraduate degrees in law and economics).
Flavia is the author and co-author of numerous articles, both in Brazil and abroad.
