Pablo A. Palazzi’s practice focuses on technology transactions, intellectual property issues, Internet and technology law, artificial intelligence, data protection, cyber security and computer crime, domain name registration, trademarks and patents, electronic discovery and fintech-related matters.
The clients he advises include internet companies, social networks, AI companies, online payment systems, electronic wallets, cryptocurrency exchanges, banks, Fintech, Insurtech, and HealthTech companies, commercial reporting firms, personal data brokers, hardware and software development companies, and online stores.
He has been named as a leading professional in Intellectual Property Law by internationally recognized publications such as Chambers & Partners Latin America, The Legal 500 Latin America and Latin Lawyer 250. In the field of personal data, he is recognized in Who’s Who Legal Data, Global Data Review, and by the Latin America Corporate Counsel Association. He was the first Latin American lawyer to receive the Vanguard Award from the IAPP in 2022.
Pablo is an adjunct professor at the University of San Andrés, where he directs the Center for Technology and Society, focusing on courses in Intellectual Property and the Internet. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Future of Privacy Forum, a member of the editorial board of International Data Privacy Law (Oxford), and a member of the Steering Committee of the International Forum of Data Privacy. Pablo is also a member of the organizing committee of the CPCP Lat Am conference.
He is also a panelist for WIPO Arbitration Center.
