Marc Gallardo is the founding partner of LEXING SPAIN and works in the area of Information Technology, IT/ IP and Data Protection.
He is the President of the IT law Section at the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and the Director on Digital Strategy at the Union International des Avocats (UIA).
Skills
His professional practice is focused on issues relating to IT, including legal aspects concerning the Internet, computers, software, telecommunications, e-commerce, online marketing and social networks, intellectual property, privacy and data protection, compliance and business management related to new technologies.
He has obtained the CIPP/E and CIPP/US credentials issued by IAPP which demonstrates a strong foundation in European and US privacy laws and regulations.
He is the author of numerous articles and publications regarding IT law and Privacy and data protection law from 1999 to date and has also participated as a speaker in conferences on legal issues regarding IT law, with emphasis on robotic law and privacy and data protection. He is also a member of the Editorial Team of Juriste International.
