David is a business lawyer with extensive experience in private practice and in-house. He heads the TMT and IP team at Jackson Russell, specialising in the areas of technology, media, telecommunications and intellectual property protection and commercialisation, and advises clients on data protection issues. David has much international experience and before returning to New Zealand and joining Jackson Russell he was a partner in a UK law firm.
David’s clients range from multi-national companies to high-growth businesses. His clients like his clear, business focused approach and deep industry expertise.
David is admitted as a solicitor in New Zealand. He enjoys playing football and cricket with his 4 boys and watching Arsenal FC. He speaks fluent French.
