Nesrine Roudane

Nesrine Roudane is the Founder and Managing Partner of Roudane Law Firm. A member of the Casablanca Bar with rights of audience before the Moroccan Court of Cassation, she has combined strategic advisory work, transactional practice and business litigation for more than two decades.

She advises international groups, investors, executives and institutions on structuring and safeguarding their activities in Morocco, as well as on complex and high-stakes situations.

Her approach combines in-depth knowledge of regulatory environments, a strong international outlook and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. She is also registered  as an arbitrator with the Moroccan courts and is a certified mediator and domain name expert under the joint WIPO-OMPIC programme. Her practice includes:

• data protection, digital compliance and legal issues relating to artificial intelligence;
• intellectual property, innovation, start-ups and venture capital;
• corporate and commercial law, investment and cross-border transactions;
• complex litigation, arbitration, mediation and insolvency proceedings;

She has a particular focus on the legal and regulatory challenges facing emerging markets, with in-depth knowledge of Morocco and francophone Africa.

Nesrine Roudane serves as President of the UIA Start-Ups & Venture Capital Commission and as Diversity & Inclusion Officer for the IBA Arab Regional Forum.

Nesrine Roudane is the President of the Legal and Tax Commission of the CFCIM (French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Morocco), she also served as an elected member of the Casablanca Bar Council.

Her experience advising leading market participants and her active engagement in international legal organisations enable her to provide clients with a local, regional and global perspective.

Fluent in Arabic, French and English, she is recognised for her strategic judgement, rigour and ability to turn complex legal challenges into clear, practical solutions.
